About South Valley #187

March 16, 2020 - A Corona Virus, Covid-19, Update

Hello Brothers, Family, and Friends,

As you know, we are currently living in unusual times which require us to make decisions for the greater good for all our family, friends, and neighbors in Santa Clara County, California, the USA, and the world.

On March 16, 2020, the Santa Clara Public Health Department ordered all individuals living in the county to shelter at their place of residence due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) breakout. This includes “prohibiting all non-essential gatherings of any number of individuals and ordering the cessation of all non-essential travel.” There are exceptions to this order, and you can read the entire directive HERE for the details.

With this in mind, I am ordering the cancellation of all face-to-face meetings and activities related to South Valley Lodge, 187, until further notice.

We all must do what we can to limit the exposure and spread of this virus in our community.  The more we actively protect ourselves and others from this virus, the sooner we will be able to return to a more normal way of life.

In the meantime, please stay healthy and safe, and feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions or concerns.

Fraternally yours,

Steve Chase
Worshipful Master
South Valley Lodge, 187
